Sport Journalism : A butcher's street
The worked field of journalism is very limited, but the one of sport's journalism. More specifically, soccer, is a word almost impossible to be in, even more for a woman (a blonde woman, ok? ) .
It's like to walk on a butcher's street !! Personally, I wanna work on T.V and my focus is on the TOP, I mean I won't settle being the girl who read the "twitters" (yes, hashtags and twitts of a players or even the post of a wife's player) NO WAY!. I won't be satisfied until be the girl on the front of the camera commenting and analyzing a match, showing all I know, my skills.
I think that T.V should be renewed, is a shame there are still the same big (and old) figures talking about the same old concepts of soccer. The same people talking about the same sh... same things.
But the worst part is that those people , who don't even studied the career, don't allow new people on T.V and even on radio (the classic radios). But hey! I don't mean that no one can be in, in this last time we have seen new faces on T.V like "Grace Lazcano", but of course, I don't want to open the debate about maleness on this (flour of another bag).
However, as we don't have "extra help", we must to start from... well, from the start. I mean, how it supposed to be.
Will it be hard? yes, of course, but I'll get it for sure!!
